Pond, son of Vetes Pond of Farmington, Warren, PA, was born about 1835, and died April 15, 1899. In the Name of God, Amen. I, Charles E. Pond of the Town of Busti, State of New York being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say: First. After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to Celia E. Pond my lawful wife all my property both personal and real during her natural life, and that if any remain she shall make such disposition of it to the or our children and grand children as to her seems best. And I do hereby order and direct my wife the Executor of this my last Will to pay out of my estate the following sums of money to my daughters that is to say, "Fifty dollars to my daughter Mrs. Susan Carlin of Buffalo, NY and fifty dollars to Mrs. Nettie Cook of Belleforte, Pa., and fifty dollars to daughter Gertie Brown of Warren Pa. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Celia E. Pond my lawful wife sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
