Vol. 2 page 365 Nahum Aldrich of Ellery Will dated: 8 Dec 1853 Will probated: 12 May 1856 I Nahum Aldrich of the town of Ellery in the county of Chautauqua and state of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (viz) First. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Angeline the use and occupation of one third part of my real and personal estate as long as she may remain my widow. I give and bequeath to my oldest son Moses Aldrich all my right title waters claim and demand of in and to one hundred and forty nine and one half acres of land situated the third town and this tenth range of the Holland Land Companies Land for the boundaries of which reference may be had to a deed executed by said Land Company to me and recorded in the clerks office of said county. I give and bequeath unto my second son, Francis Ugene Aldrich eixty six acres of land lying and being in the town of Ellery aforesaid and being described as the North West part of lot sixty one in the third town and Twelfth range of townships of the said Comapnys land referrng to my deed for the boundaries of the same. Also I give and bequeath unto my son Francis Ugene two thousand dollars being part of moneys secured to me by Bond and Mortgage against F. Delos Brown and Samuel Brown. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elvira Nancy Aldrich one thousand three hundred dollars it being the remainder of said bond and mortage the above named heirs to come in possession of their several dowries as soon as they become of lawful age reserving their mothers rights as above divided. Also my beloved wife is to have two beds and suitable beding also two cows, each of my sons to have one bed and beding and my daughter is to have three beds and bed clothing for each the remainder of my personal property I give and bequeath to my two sons and my daughter to be divided equally between them as they evenally become of lawful age and I do hereby appoint William S. Aldrich and Abijah Clark my sole executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me make. It witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighty day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-three. Nahum Aldrich L.S. In presence of William S.
