ALDRICH of Jamestown Will dated: 6 Jun 1871 Will probated: 28 Aug 1871 I, Harriet S. Aldrich of the village of Jamestown, Chautauqua County, New York, do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. First. I give devise and bequeath to my dear husband John J. Aldrich during his life, the use of all my estate both real and personal and also the use of all the interest or share in my father's property or estate due and coming to me. Second. That on the decease of my said husband I give devise and bequeath all of my said estate both real and personal to my step daughter Clara M. Aldrich, my daughter Minnie C. Aldrich, and such other child or children as may hereafter be born unto me to be divided equally between them and share and share alike. Third. I appoint my dear husband John J. Aldrich executor of this my last will, giving and granting unto him full power to sell and dispose of my said estate at public or private sale, at such time's and in such manner to him shall seem best and to invest the proceeds as his judgement shall direct for the best interests of said children. In witness whereof, I Harriet S. Aldrich have to this my last Will and testament consisting of one half sheet of paper, subscribed my name this sixth day of June 1871. Harriet S. Aldrich L.S. The foregoing will was subscribed by the testator in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time declared by her to be her last Will and testament and thereupon we at the request of the testator, sign our names hereto as witnesses, this sixth day of June 1871.
