The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ Chautauqua Co., NY Will Book Vol. 5 page 223 transcribed from SAMPUBCO copy Will of Lucy Corell In the name of God amen I Lucy Corell of the Town of Portland in the County of Chautauqua and State of New York being of sound mind and memory blessed be God for the same, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following: that is to say First After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, including a set of tombstones at my grave: I give and bequeath to my son William Corell all of the rest and residue of my personal estate of every kind and nature of which I may die possessed; to have and to hold the same to him and his heirs and assigns forever. But if said William Corell should die without any heirs; then I give and bequeath to my sister Alice W. Hall three hundred Dollars, to have and to hold the same to her and her heirs and assigns forever. If there be any remaining the balance I give and bequeath to my eight sisters namely Martha C Bowdish, Laura Odell, Harriet Hallenbeck, Louisa Tisdale, Juliet Davis, Margaret M Fellows, Alice W Hall, and Permelia Goodsell, to be equally divided among them, share and share alike, and to their heirs and assigns forever.
