Will of Lucy Corell

In the name of God amen I Lucy Corell of the Town of Portland in the County of
Chautauqua and State of New York being of sound mind and memory blessed be God
for the same, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in
the manner following: that is to say

First After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, including a
set of tombstones at my grave: I give and bequeath to my son William Corell
all of the rest and residue of my personal estate of every kind and nature of
which I may die possessed; to have and to hold the same to him and his heirs
and assigns forever.  But if said William Corell should die without any heirs;
then I give and bequeath to my sister Alice W. Hall three hundred Dollars, to
have and to hold the same to her and her heirs and assigns forever.  If there
be any remaining the balance I give and bequeath to my eight sisters namely
Martha C Bowdish, Laura Odell, Harriet Hallenbeck, Louisa Tisdale, Juliet
Davis, Margaret M Fellows, Alice W Hall, and Permelia Goodsell, to be equally
divided among them, share and share alike, and to their heirs and assigns
forever. Lastly I hereby appoint my son William Correll, my sole Executor, of
this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this twenty first day
of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two.

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof declared to us by Lucy Corell
the Testator therein mentioned to be her last Will and Testament and she at
the same time acknowledged to us and each of us that she signed and sealed the
same and in thereupon at her request and in  her presence and in the presence
of each other signed our names as attesting wittnesses

Alfred Sabon Residing in Portland Chautauqua County New York Levi Hall
Residing in Portland, Chautauqua County New York

Recorded the foregoing last Will and Testament of Lucy Corell deceased and
compared the same with the original this Third dday of June 1872
