Hall of Pomfret in the County of Chautauqua and State of New York aged 62 years considering the uncertainty of life and the probable near approach of death and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do hereby make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say: First: Having implicit confidence in the affection, integrity and fidelity of my beloved wife Jane Ann Hall and fully believing that she will deal justly with our two sons, I do hereby give, devise, and bequeath to her and to her heirs and assigns forever all my property and estate both real and personal of whatever kinds or nature or wherever situated. Second: I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Jane Ann Hall and my son Otis M. Hall to be my executors of this my last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 1st day of June 1871 John P. Hall S.S. The foregoing instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date hereof subscribed by John P. Hall the Testator herein named in our presence and was at the same time declared by him to be his last Will and Testament and we at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names hereto as witnesses.
