Last Will and Testament of Phoebe Hollenbeck (Mecusker) I, Phoebe Hollenbeck, of the Village of Jamestown, Chautauqua Co, New York, being of sound, mind and memory and considering the uncertainity of the frail life do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say: After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Nancy, wife of Jacob Hollenbeck, my farm of thirty five acres, near Ellery Center and occupied at present by the said Jacob Hollenbeck and the said Nancy, his wife, to have and hold the said farms as sure unto her as by Warranty Deeds. I also give and bequeath to my said daughter, Nancy, all my household furniture, useful and ____ including my wearing apparal. All the ____ remainder of my ___or real estate, I give and devise and bequeath to my sons Matthew Mecusker, Dudley Mecusker and James Mecusker, to be divided equally between them; share and share alike. I give nothing to my daughter Martha Bly (?). To my son Jerome Mecusker, I do not give anything, believing him in no way needy for this worlds goods. I make, constitute and appoint my daughter, Nancy Hollenbeck, to be sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have here-unto set and subscribed my name and affixed my seal the tenth day of September eighteen hundred and eighty. The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Phoebe Hollenbeck in our presence and acknowledged by her to each of us and she at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed to be her last will and testament and we at ther request, have signed our names as witnesses hereto in her presence and in the presence of each other, and written opposite our names our respective place of residence.
