It is dated 1911, from my Grandmother's scrapbook. WHITE-BARRIGER, Well known young people united by Nutpial Knot. Norwich, April 26 - A very pretty wedding occurred Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Barriger, on Mitchell St., when their daughter Elvah May, was united in wedlock with Harry Melvin WHITE, of Philadelphia. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M.D. Fuller, the ring service being used. Miss Mary Dimicco of Sidney, N.Y., was the maid of honor and Martin P. Foy was best man. Mrs. Edward O. Barriger played the Mendelssohn wedding march. The bride's costume was of Alice Blue satin and the maid of honor wore a gown of pink silk. The house was nicely decorated with pink and white carnations, roses and calla lillies. Following the ceremony the wedding supper was served and the couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. White will leave tomorrow (Saturday) for Philadelphia and Atlantic City and will make their home in the latter place. Only immediate relatives were invited and among those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. George W. Lamphere, of Binghamton; Mrs. Luna Lamphere of Oxford; Mrs. C.A. Brisee of Beaver Meadow; Miss Minnie Rugg of Bovina, N.Y. and Miss Mary Dimicco of Sidney.
