Pompano Beach, Florida. 1975

A funeral for Bernice M. Burgess, 68, is scheduled at 10 A.M., Tuesday at the
R.J. Kraeer Funeral Home here. Mrs. Burgess died Saturday October 5, 1975 at a
Pompano Beach hospital.

The Rt. Rev. Msgr. S.J. Malinowski will officiate at the funeral. Mrs. Burgess
was born in Norwich, N.Y. on March 30, 1907, a daughter of LeRoy and Bessie
Purdy McNITT, she came to Pompano Beach from Binghamton seven years ago. In
addition to her husband, Harold, Mrs. Burgess is survived by five sisters,
Mrs. Katherine Thorpe, Mrs. Ruth Whitacre and Mrs. John Fern, all of Pompano
Beach; Mrs. Lynn Kolfrat, Orlando Fla., and Mrs John Lamb, Norwich; two
brothers Harold McNITT, Lockport, N.Y. and Robert McNITT, Newark, Delaware and
several nieces and nephews.
