Davis, whose death coccurred Friday afternoon about five o'clock, will be held Monday from her late home in East Norwich at 2 P.M. Deceased was the widow of the late Edson A. Davis and was the oldest of a family of 12 children of the late James Simeon and Phoebe Ann Townsend McNITT. She was born in the Town of Norwich, September 10, 1855, On January 7, 1873, she married Edson A. DAVIS and they took up their home on a farm a short distance from the home of Mrs. Davis' father. Five children survive, Mrs. Curtis E. Winsor, Lee and Ross Davis of this city, Linn of Oxford and Ray of Oneonta. Three sisters survive, Mrs. Clarissa McLagan and Mrs. Sperry Sargent of Norwich and Mrs. Frank L. Bowers of Buffalo; three brothers also survive, Frank, Eugene and Andrew McNITT of this city. There also survive five grandchildren, Jay, Mary, Donald, Raymond and Barbara Jean Davis, all of Oxford.
