The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ Funeral services for Kasson McLagan, who passed away Saturday were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Breese Funeral Home. Rev. Lloyd S. Charters, rector of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, officiated. Serving as bearers were Harold Covell, Wilbur Ingraham, Richard Lyons, Archie White, Anson White and Anthony Paino. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. Charters conducting the prayer and committal service. Members of the Moose and Eagles conducted special memorial service at the Breese Funeral Home Monday night. Members of the Ontario Hose and employees of the post office attended the funeral home in a body Monday to pay final respects to the late Mr. McLagan. Attending the services Tuesday from away were Mr. & Mrs. Percy McLagan and daughter Doris; Mrs. Charles Hoffman and Robert Hoffman; and Mr. & Mrs. George Miller, all of Guilford; Anthony Paino, Mr. & Mrs. John Wallace and Richard Wallace, of Oxford; Mr. & Mrs. Frank Smith, Miss Florence Smith, Mr. & Mrs. John Smith, Jr., of Bridgeport, Conn.; Mrs. Walter McIntyre and Carl McIntyre of Oneonta; Mrs. Jessie Moses of Hamilton; Mr. & Mrs. Stanley McLagan and Charles and Robert McLagan all of Dover, N.J. note: Kasson McLagan was the son of George and Clarissa McNITT McLagan
