McNITT whose death occurred at his home on Lyon Brook Road, Oct. 5, 1925, had been a resident of that same neighborhood all his life. He resided on the same farm on which he died, since early in 1896. Mr. McNitt was sixty years of age and had enjoyed the best of health until about eight years ago when he was afflicted with diabetis and other complications which were the cause of his death. He is survived by his widow and five children, three daughters Mrs. Frank Wheeler and Mrs. Carl Morehouse of Norwich and Mrs. John Dunn of Bainbridge, and two sons, Lynn and Jay McNitt of Norwich; three brothers, Frank, Eugene and Andrew McNITT of Norwich and six sisters, Mrs. Addie Davis, Mrs. George McLagan, Mrs. George Carpenter, Mrs. David Harris and Mrs. Sperry Sargent of Norwich and Mrs. Frank Bowers of Buffalo.
