The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ From Norwich, N.Y. paper, December 10, 1958 Mrs. Dorothy Tinman McNITT, Endicott, 42, of 1707 and one half Riverview Drive, Endicott, died at 9:30 Wednesday night at Ideal Hospital after a long illness. She is survived by her husband Clifford D. McNITT, two daughters, Nancy Elizabeth McNitt and Sandra Lee McNitt, both of Endicott, and Uncle Elwyn I. Williams of New York City and several cousins. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Endicott and a member of the Parent Teacher Association of the Henry B. Endicott and Broad St. Schools. She also was a member of the Lafayette Chapter, Order of Eastern Star of Oxford and a former resident of Norwich. The body is at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St., Endicott, where the family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Services will be held Sat. morning at 10:30 at the funeral home followed at 11 by services in St. Paul's Epicopal Church, Rev. Elwood Hannum, rector, officiating. The body will be placed in the receiving vault at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery, Oneonta, for final burial there later.
