(Feb. 20, 1971), following a short illness. Mrs. Moses was born July 15, 1882, in Norwich, the daughter of George and Clarissa McNITT MacLagan. She attended the Norwich schools and lived in Norwich until her marriage to Jesse Moses in Guilford in 1907. He died in 1996. They had moved to Eaton in 1910, residing there until 1927 when they moved to Hamilton. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Hamilton and of the James Madison Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving is a son, Dr. Jay B. Moses of Rochester, a granddaughter, Miss Anne Moses of Rochester; two sisters Mrs. Kirk (Helen) Moss and Mrs. Orson (Addie) Blood, both of Norwich, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tues. at St. Thomas Church, Rev. Ronald S. Fitts, rector will officiate. Burial will be in the Spring in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hamilton. There are no calling hours, Arrangements are by the Beecher Funeral Home.
