Mrs. Grace Stone Obituary, from Norwich paper, Feb. 16, 1968

Oxford--Mrs. Grace Stone, 86 of Van Horn Circle, Beacon, and formerly of
Oxford died Friday afternoon at the Vassar Brothers Memorial Hospital in
Poughkeepksie. She was born August 15, 1881, in Oxford the daughter of Nelson
and Ellen Davis McNITT. Mrs. Stone was an honorary member of the Joseph
Jefferson Literary Club and a member of the United Church of Christ, F.C. of
Oxford. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Jones Howell of Beacon, Mrs.
Truman Partridge of Royal Oak, Mich., two grand-daughters  Mrs. James Gordon
of Poughkeepsie and Miss Nancy Partridge of Royal Oak, Mich. Funeral services
were held this morning at 11 o'clock at the Seymour Funeral Home in Oxford.
Rev. Thomas G. Swales, D.D., pastor of the Boulevard Methodist Church,
Binghamton, officiated. Burial will be in River View Cemetery at the
convenience of the family.
