Will of Solomon HALLETT 
 
In the name of God Amen. I Solomon HALLETT of the town of Bainbridge County of 
Chenango and State of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind 
and memory do make and publish this my Last will and testament in manner and 
form (that is to say) 
 
First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elenor the use of all my real 
estate and personal during her natural life (after her decease) I will and 
devise unto my daughters Marian and Sarah Jane all my real estate and personal 
to them their heirs and assigns forever I also give and bequeath to my sons 
Jacob S. William Thomas Solomon Elijah and Hiram and also to my daughter Jemima 
one dollar each to be paid to them by Marian and Sarah Jane on their coming into 
possession of my Estate. 
 
I hereby appoint my wife Elenor sole Executrix of this my last will and 
testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Solomon HALLETT to be 
his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed 
our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.
