Aldrich of Norwich probated 3 May 1886 In the Name of God, Amen. I, Sanford K. Aldrich of the town of Norwich, Chenango County, New York mindful of the uncertainties of human life do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner following. First. After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Fanny M. Aldrich all the personal property of whatever name or nature I may die possessed of to have and to hold the same to heruse and the use of her heirs and assigns forever. Second. I give and devise to my beloved wife Fanny M. Aldrich aforesaid the use rents and profits of all the real estate of whcih I may die possessed for and during her natural life. Third. Upon the death o fmy beloved wife Fanny M. Aldrich I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Alice R. Wood wife of Martin M. Wood the sum of three hundred dollars to be paid to her one year after the decease of my said wife aforesaid to have and to hold the same to her use and the use of her heirs and assigns forever. The said sum of three hundred dollars I make a charge upon my real estate to be paid out of the same. Fourth. Upon the deat of my said wife Fanny M. Aldrich I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Jennie M. Holmes wife of Albert Holmes the sum to her use and the use of her heirs and assigns forever which said sum of one hundred dollars I make a charge upon my real estate to be paid out of the same, and payable one year after the deat of my said wife. Fifth. After the death of my sad wife Fanny M. Aldrich I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Nellie H. Aldrich now Crandall, wife of Harvey Crandall, all the real estate of which I may die possessed subject to the life interest of my said wife Fanny M. Aldrich and subject to the payment of three hundred dollars, to my daughter Jennie M. Holmes heretofore and herein devised to each of them and made a charge, upon said real estate to have and to hold the same of the use of the said Nellie H. Aldrich her heirs and assigns forever. Sixth. I hereby reokve all former wills by me made. Seventh. I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Fanny M. aldrich the executrix of this my last Will and Testament I hereby authorized and empower my said executrix the said Fanny M. aldrich to compound compromise and settle any claim or demand which may be against or in favor of my said estate.
