Cox and Cornelia his wife assignees of Israel Platt Sheriff of the County of Clinton I am commanded that of the goods & Chattel of Abner Loomis & John Wilson in my bailiwick I ________ cause to be made one thousand dollars of Debt which Isaac B. Cox & Cornelia his wife assignees of Israel S. Platt Sheriff of the County of Clinton lately in the Supreme Court of Indenture before the Testator of the People of the State of New York of the said County at this City of New York _________ed against that said John & Abner and also Thirty three dollars and seventy three cents which in the same courthouse adjudged to the said Isaac B. and Cornelia assignees yc for the damages which they had sustained as well by occasion of the d_t_ntion of that debt as per the book & charged by them about their writ in that __________ so pended whereof the said Abner & John were convicted as appears of record and if sufficient goods & Chattels of the said Abner & John can't not be found in my bailiwick that when I should cause the same to be made of the Lands and Tenements whereof the said John & Abner were seized on the seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten or at any time since afterward in whose __________ the same might be or by the said writ referenced thereto being and amongst other things will more fully appear And whereas by virtue of the said court of Fieri Farrias I have seized and taken the Lands and tenements of the said John Wilson hereafter particularly described the said John Wilson & Abner Loomis or either of them not having sufficient goods and Chattels in my bailiwick whereon I could cause to be made the Debt and Damages in the __________ writ of Fieri Farrias mentioned And whereas the said Lands and tenements hereafter described have been ____ by me the said Isaac S. Platt the Sheriff as aforesaid, having first advertised the same agreeable to law at public Venoue So Reuben H. Wadsworth for the sum of three hundred and Ten Dollars and one cent it being the highest sum bid for the same. Now this Indenture witness __ that I the said Isaac S. Platt the Sheriff aforesaid of the County of Clinton by Virtue of the writ of Fieri Farrias aforesaid to me directed and retained as aforesaid and by force of the Statute in such case made and provided have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell assign and deed over unto the said Reuben H. Wadsworth his heirs and assignees forever all that _____ piece or parcel of Lands Situate lying and being in the town of Plattsburgh and State of New York being the home which the said John Wilson now resides and is described as follows to wit Being after____ Beekmans Patent on the west side of Lake Champlain in the County and State... Page 283 of aforesaid known and distinguished in a Map made of said Patent by William Cockburn and John Cox, Junior in the year 1785 by the name of Lot number thirty two beginning at the north west corner of Lot number thirty one at a stake southerly from a birch tree cornered and marked 31.32 and runs thence along the bounds of said lot number thirty one and the bounds of lot number seventeen southerly forty eight chains and fifty seven links to a stake north westerly to a Baywood tree cornered and marked 17 & 32 thence still along the bounds of said lot number seventeen west forty seven chains and eight links to a stake fourteen links northwesterly from a Beech Tree cornered and marked 32.33 in the north bounds of the Township and thence along the same East forty seven chains and eight links to the place of beginning containing two hundred and twenty eight and half acres of land as per ---- Book excepting our of the same one hundred and fifty acres heretofore sold and conveyed to & in particularly described in a Deed to Jerimiah Barnes & Noah Barnes from the said John Wilson together with all and singular the buildings privledges and appurtenances and all the ---- rights titles interest and property which the said John Wilson had in and to the same on the said Seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ten or at any time since or in or to any part or parcel thereof for and in consideration of the said sum of three hundred and ten Dollars and one Cent to me in hand paid by the said Reuben H. Wadsworth before ensealing and delivery here -- to have and to hold the said above described certain piece and every part & parcel there of unto the said Reuben H. Wadsworth his heirs and assignees for ever as fully ----- & absolutely as I the said Isaac Platt esquire sheriff of the County of Clinton aforesaid may might or ----- sell & convey the same by virtue of the aforesaid writ of Fieri Farrias to me directed and delivered as aforesaid & by virtue of the Statute of the State of New York in such case made and provided. In witness whereof I the said Isaac S. Platt Esquire sheriff of the County of Clinton aforesaid have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eleven Isaac S. Platt sheriff ES Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Aaron Waters Clinton County -- In this eleventh of November 1811 Personally appeared before me M------- Smith a Judge of Clinton Commonwealth (?) Pg 284 Aaron waters to me known who on his oath did say that knows Isaac S Platt Sheriff of said County who in his presence did sign seal and deliver the within ---- and acknowledged it as his voluntary act and deed and that he A. Waters did sign the same as a witness in the presence of said Isaac S.
