Waterman in the N. York line Inscribed in the Roll of New York at the rate of 80 Dollars per month, to commence on the 2 day of Oct, 1833 State of New York } Columbia County } 22 Jan 1833 appeared David Potts aged seventy five years sworn and makes oath to obtain the benefit due by act of Congress 7 Jun 1832 - stating: He was born in Germantown in Jan 1757 as recorded in church books in said town where Christened - at about 12 years of age he moved with father to Livingston then to Hudson - that in June 1775 he enlisted in Livingston for six months under Capt Jacob T. Shaver - does not recollect company, marched to Tishkee and placed in regiment of Col.
