In the name of God Amen,I Samuel Thompson of the Town of Chatham County of 
Columbia and State of New York being weak in body but of sound mind and
memory, blessed be God, do this first day of August in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and eight, make this my last Will and Testament as
follows:

First, I give and bequeath unto my true & well beloved wife Elizabeth one
third part of all my Estate both real and personal and further to my seven
sons, viz, Samuel, Daniel, Calvin, Luther, Charles, Johnathan and Leonard
Thompson, I give and bequeath the remaining part of real Estate to be equally
divided between them, and further I give and bequeath the remaining part of my
personal Estate unto my ten children to be equally divided between them, that
is, meaning that Lucinda Curtis Wife of Zacheus Curtis my Eldest Daughter, and
Loonne Merril the Wife of John Merril my second Daughter and Sally Murphy the
Wife of Smith Murphy my youngest daughter should receive an equal proportion
of the said remaining part of my personal Estate with my seven sons above
mentioned.

And I make ordain and appoint my beloved Wife Elizabeth Thompson and my two
sons Samuel & Calvin Thompson Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the said Samuel Thompson have to this my last Will and 
Testament set my hand and seal the day & year above written.
