I Andrew Weiderwax of the town of Chatham in the County of Columbia considering the uncertainty of this ____ life and know they that is appointed for all men once to die but being of sound mind & memory blessed be almighty God for the same and being desirous of making a dispostion of all my real & personal estate do publish this as my last Will & testament in manner & form following that is to say FIRST: whereas I have made advances to my son Henry and have conveyed to him by Deed bearing date the sixteenth the sixteenth day of June in the year of our loard one thousand eight hundred & fifteen a farm of land situate in the town of Chatham aforesaid containing by estimate one hundred & thirty nine acres and sixteen perches of land which is to be in full of my said son Henry's share or portion of my estate. And whereas I have conveyed by deed to my son in law George Bair a certain piece of land situate in the town of Chatham aforesaid containing two acres also have conveyed to my daughter Elizabeth and George Barin her husband a tract of land containing thirty four acres and three perches of land situte in the town of Chatham aforesaid as by the said respective Deeds will move fully appear which together with the advances I have made to my said daughter Elizabeth wife of the said George Bair is to be ____ full of her shear portion and claim on the rest of my estate. SECOND: It is my Will and I do hereby order & direct that my son ____ ____ all my just debts that I may owe at the time of my decease out of the property herein after deceased. THIRD: I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Anna all and singular my houshold furniture that I may own at the time of my decease to be used and enjoyed by her during her natural life and after her decease what shall remain of it I give and devise and bequeath the same to my son John his heirs execution or administration - third- it is my Will & desire and I do hereby order and direct that my wife Anna shall be decently supported ___ out of the farm where I now reside situte in the town of Chatham aforesaid with every necessary of life during her natural life which said farm is herein afterwards devised to my said son John and I do hereby charge the said farm with her maintenance and support. FOURTH: It is my Will & desire and I do hereby order & direct that my wife Anna shall live in my now dwelling house with my said son John during her natural life and sp long as she shall be able to conduct the concerns in the house shall have the control of FIFTH: I give and bequeath unto my son John all ____ the farm I now live on situate in the town aforesaid and all the land I may dau ____ seized of situate in the town of Chatham aforesaid or elsewhere to have and to hold the same to his heirs and assigns forever subject however to the maintenance support & privilege of my beloved wife Anna herein before particularly expected. SIXTH: All the rest residue and remainder of my good & chattels farming utensils, bonds, notes & book accounts and personal property of what nature or kindsoever that I may leave at the time of my decease. I give devise and bequeath the same unto my son John onto his heirs executors or admnistrators. Lastly I do hereby constitute & appoint my beloved wife Anna Weiderwax and my two sons Henry Weiderwax & John Weiderwax executrix & executors of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all former Wills & testaments ___ heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and testamnet As witness my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one. Van Buren Surrogate of the county of Columbia aforesaid John Keller who being first duly sworn did dipose and say that he saw Andrew Weiderwax execute the second preceding instrument as and for his last Will and testament that at the time of execution thereof the said Andrew Weiderwax was of sound diposing mind and memory according to the best of the knowledge and belief of said deponent and that he the said deponent James J. Van Alen, Christian Lawrence searally subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the testator and of each other. J. Van Buren surrogate of the county of Columbia who being first duly sworn did dipose and say that he saw Andrew Weiderwax execute the first preceding instrument as and for a codicil to his last Will and testatment that at the time of the execution thereof he the said Andrew Weiderwax was of sound & disposing mind and memory according to the best of the knowledge and belief of the said deponent and that he the deponent James Vanderpoel & James Simonson sereally subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the testator and of each other A.A. Van Buren Surrogate of the county of Columbia afresaid and were duly qualified to the due perfomance and execution of the said Will by taking the oath in such case by law appointed. A.A.
