All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ny/nyfiles.htm Submitted Date: May 6, 2006 This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nyfiles/ File size: 4.1 Kb ************************************************ Lot 87, Solon, Cortland, NY Written: February 8, 1826 Recorded: May 28, 1834 This Indenture, made this eighth day of February, in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six Between Bethuel Harvey and Clarissa his wife of the Town of Solon County of Cortland & State of New York of the first part and Walter Stebbins of the Town of Freetown County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and Thirty dollars lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by the party of the second part wherewith the said party of the first part doth Sececk [sp?], acclaim himself satisfied here and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. All That certain piece or parcel of Land situated Lying and being in the Town of Solon in the County of Cortland State of New York known and distinguished as being the survey fifty acres in the south west corner of Lot number eighty seven in the township of Solon being in a square form. Together with all and singular the right, members and privileges to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof, and all the estate right title interest property possession claim and demand both in law and equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the same To Have and to Hold the said tract or parcel of land premises with the appurtenances unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever And the said party of the first part and for themselves their heirs executors and administrators Covenant and agree to and with the party of the second part his heirs and assigns that he is the true and lawful owner of the said tract or parcel of Land and premises with the Appurtenances and is lawfully seized in his own right of a perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple of in and to all the said premises with the appurtenances and hath in himself good right full proper and lawful authority to grant and convey the same And also that the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns shall and may forever hereafter peaceably have hold occupy and possess the said Granted premises free from the hindrance or molestation of any person or persons lawfully claiming the same And that the said party of the first part and their heirs the said parcel of land and premises unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever by these presents Defend. Sealed and Delivered In presence of William Tanner Solomon Baker Jr State of New York Cortland County to wit On this 8th day of February 1826, before me came Bethuel Harvey and Claracy his wife to me known to be the Grantors within named and acknowledged that they executed the within Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Clarasy being by me examined separate & apart from her said husband acknowledged that she executed the same freely without any fear or compulsion from her said husband.
