VanHoesen In the name of God, Amen. I, Albert G. VanHoesen of the Town of Preble in the County of Cortland, and State of New York of the age of sixty four years and being of sound mind, and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say. First. I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth VanHoesen the sum of one hundred dollars, and one bed and beding, two cows, and five sheep for her own proper use and disposition. To my daughter Eliza Collyer, the sum of one hundred dollars, one cow, and five sheep. To my daugher Mary Cummings one hundred dollars, one cow and five sheep. Which said several legacies, said respective legatees within one year after my decease. Second. I give and devise to my wife Elizabeth one third of my real estate situated on Lot No 68 being the home farm, and all of my household furniture, and so much of the house as is necessary for her comfort and convenience during her remaining my widow. The household furniture after the decease of my said wife Elizabeth I give and devise to my daughters Eliza and Mary to be divided equal share and share alike. Third. I give and devise to my sons Richard S. VanHoesen & Nicholas VanHoesen their heirs and assigns all that a parcel of land situated on Lot No 69 in Preble and lying in the gulf east of lands owned by Francis G. VanHoesen, being thirty acres together with all the hereditaments, and apurtinances thereunto belonging,or in any wise appurtaining to have and to hold the premaces above described to the said Richard S. VanHoesen & Nicholas VanHoesen their heirs and assigns forever share and share alike. Fourth. I give and devise all the rest residue and remainder of any real estate of whatsoever name, or nature to any said sons Albert M. VanHoesen, and Henry B. VanHoesen to be divided equally between them share and share alike. The above real estate comprises the home farm situated on Lot No 68 Preble containing eighty nine acres together with eighty four acres of land on Log sixty nine; and lying east of lands owned by Barnet Egbertson, and south of the road running east from Fracis G. VanHoesen. Fifth. I give and devise all the rest, residue, and remainder of my personal estate, goods and chattles of whatsoever nature or kink remaining after setling, and paying the before named bequests to Elizabeth VanHoesen, Eliza Collyer, and Mary Cummings, to Albert M. VanHoesen and Henry B VanHoesen to be divided equally between them share and share alike. And Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Elizabeth VanHoesen, Executrix, and my friend Elihu Mix Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
