I Platt Whitlock of the town of Stamford in the County of Delaware and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare, this my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say. First. I give and devise unto my by beloved wife Betsy the use of one third of all Real Estate during her natural life, also the use and occupation of the dwelling house now occupied by me during her natural life. I also give and bequeath unto my said wife all the household furniture, beds, bedding &c for he own use and benefit. Second, I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Lydia Ann Burroughs the sum of fifty dollars. Third. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Polly Palmateir the sum of fifty dollars. Fourth. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Acenith Mackey the sum of seventy five dollars. Fifth. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Betsy Maria Rockwell the sum of seventy five dollars. Sixth. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Nabby Whitlock the sum of one hundred dollars. Seventh. I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Phebe Caroline Whitlock the sum of one hundred dollars. The above legacies to be paid to each legatee by installments annually of $15, commencing one year after my decease. It is my will that my daughters Nabby and Phebe have a home in the house with their other while they remain single and unmarried. And lastly I give and devise and bequeath unto my beloved son Charles E. Whitlock all my Real Estate I know own subject to the use of one third thereinbefore given to my said wife and the payment of the legacies thereinbefore mentioned and the payments of my just debts and funeral expenses and also all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate of every name and nature. And I hereby appoint my wife Betsy and my said son Charles E. Whitlock Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
