According to the LDS IGI, Martin LEWIS was born ca. 1779 in Erie Co. He married Abigail THAYER, and they had the following children: Archibald, ca. 1804 Alexander, ca.1805 Louisa, ca. 1808 Emma ca. 1810 William, ca. 1811-1813 Martin, ca. 1813 Abigail, ca. 1819 Eveline, ca. 1822 David, ca. 1825 A couple of the privately submitted records, give a child's birthplace as Worcester, Worcester, MA, which suggests to me some family association with that place. If most of the Temperance Society are Martin's family, that would leave Rosanna, Umstead, Daniel W., Eunice, and Georde/George unaccounted for. Umstead/Olmstead moved to Indiana in 1839. I haven't been able to find his ancestry. One of the women could be his wife, who died in 1840. Perhaps this will be of use to someone looking at the Erie Co. page. Kathleen T. Choi David, ca. 1819
