Gushurst and his daughter were on their way to church, their horse became frightened near the railroad station and colllided with a buggy owned by John Haskins. In the latter buggy were Miss Anna Clifford of Buffalo and a friend. They were both thrown out and Miss Clifford received a bad cut on the face. Gr. Gushurst and daughter were thrown out and the former was slightly injured. The runaway horse fell and broke its leg. Several pedestrians upon the street narrowly escaped being run over.
