Simons has been spending a week at York, the guest of Mrs. William A. Douglass. Mrs. C.C.F. Gay, who came in from Galock for a few days last week, returns today to the lake shore. The family will return for good to the city the middle of October. Mrs. Henry Bull of Linwood avenue left on Thursday for Hornellsville to visit her mother, Mrs. Adsit. Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Wagner of North Pearl street returned on Friday from Geneva. Mrs. Henry Rumrill has abandoned her proposed trip to Colorado. Mr and Mrs. W.A. Stevens of Layfayette avenue returned this morning from the country. Mr. Charles Wilson is at Lake Mohunk. Miss Winter of St. Paul, Minn, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Pemberton Smith. Mrs. C.F. Ganson, Miss Mabel Ganson and Miss Underhill arrived in New York from Europe yesterday and come to Buffalo today. Miss Anna Clark of Englewood is the guest of Mrs. Byrant B. Glenny of Delaware avenue. Mrs. Harry White of Boston is expected in town early this week, to be the guest of her mother, Mrs. Henry M. Kent of Delaware avenue. Mrs. Lilly Lord Tifft of Linwood avenue goes this week to Nashville, Tenn. Miss Cornelia B. Selkirk of Niagara street has returned from spending several days at Silver Creek. Mrs. James W. Whote has returned from Albion, where she has been visiting relatives. __________
