ACROSS THE BORDER 

Mr. De L'Etoile of the Interior Department is working on an air-ship, and expects to sail in it
to the Klondike if successful.

The house and barn of Mr. Joohn Geddes, three miles east of Thornbury, on Gravel Road, was
struck by lightning yesterday.  The house is badly shaken up, and the barn with the entire crop
of this season burnt up.
