Mrs. Frances M. Haberly, Miss Haberly and Mrs. James Haberly have returned from a summer in
Europe and have for a short time been the guests of Mrs. S. F. Brown at her pretty cottage at
Charlotte.  Mrs. Haberly is now in Rochester, where she will remain until Christmas time and
will, while there visit Buffalo, where she made so many friends during her stay here the two
last winters.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Smith of Purdy street will celebrate their 15th anniversary of their
marriage with an informal reception this evening.

Mr. J. Schifferie was honored by a surprise party on Saturday evening, given by his friends.
