November 16, 2004, age 61, of Edgewater, CO., he is survived by his son
Francisco Velasquez of Washington, D.C.; brother of Patricia (Edward) Bachman
of Durham, N.C., David (Lynn) Velasquez of Hamburg, NY, Maria (David) McArthur
of Buffalo, NY and James (Margaret) Velasquez of Lackawanna, NY and many
beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Velasquez worked for Rocky Mountain S.E.R. He
was an advocate for helping disadvantaged and minority families to find
housing and education. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University
of Detroit and completed his graduate studies at the University of Colorado.
He spend 2 years in the Peace Corp. during the Kennedy administration. Mass of
Christian Burial Saturday, December 11, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Lake R.

Yockers, Evelyn J. (Schrett)   
Age 85, of Largo, FL., formerly of Williamsville, NY, died November 14, 2004
after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the Godon F. Schrett and
the late Ernest P. Yockers. She is survived by three sons, Roy (Jane) Schrett,
Neil (the late Judith) Schrett, and Wayne (Sally) Schrett all of Florida. She
is also survived by a brother, Raymond (the late Catherine) Krempholtz of
Oswego, NY, a sister, the late Irene Martlock Pisaro; eight grandchildren,
eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service
was held November 19, 2004 at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Largo, Florida.
Interment at Mr. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY.
