McCarthy, Edward Arthur On the 14th of November 2004, at the age of 79, Edward departed this world to enjoy eternity in heaven. He was born in Buffalo, NY on April 2, 1925. A relentless man, who accomplished many great things in his lifetime, to list each accomplishment we wouldn't have the time or the space. He is survived by his wife, Lennie; two brothers, Raymond and Paul; his three children, Joseph, Nancy and Jeffrey; and grandson, Cody. Edward struggles with Alzheimers for many years but succeeded in passing with the same vigor in which he lived. His memory will be cherished always while he rests in a private cemetery in Sahuarity, AZ, which was his final wish. In 1972, he was transferred from the Chevrolet Engine Plant in Tonawanda, NY, to the Flint Engine plant. He retired from the GM Truck Group in July of 2001 after 42 years of loyal service. Howard was a very devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed maintaining the yard around the house, watching sports on television and swimming with the grandchildren in the pool during the summer. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia; 3 sons Craig (Sherry), Todd (Kristine) and Scott (Donna); all of Grand Blanc, MI; grandchildren Renee, Kathleen, Kassidy, Lauren, Madisson, Victoria, Blake and Sophia; sister Mary Louise Kihl of Lancaster, NY; sister-in-law Sharon MacBeth of Moraga, CA; a niece and several nephews.
