"Mike" 74, of Kittery, Maine, formerly of New York, February 17, at his home. Born in Hornell, NY, April 4, 1930, of Raymond Harry and Teresa Elizabeth (Stanley) McCollumn, he graduated from Hornell High school. He served in the United States Air Force. He was employed as an Air Traffic Controller until his retirement. He was a very talented artist, working in oil, woodcarving and sculpture. He was also talented in furniture building. He lived with his wife of nearly fifty years, Mary Ellen, in Florida, North Carolina, Delaware and New York State before moving to Kittery, ME in 1996. One of his proudest achievements for a lasting legacy is the beautiful stone wall that graces the front of his property in Kittery. This he worked on while receiving chemotherapy for cancer during the summer of 2004.
