(Sage) Of Tonawanda, 56, entered into rest on Sunday February 20, 2005 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Elmira, NY, she married veterinarian Philip A. Weber Jr. in 1980 and who died in 1998. They co-owned the Brighton-Eggert Animal Clinic in Tonawanda until his death. She was a veterinarian technician for 30 years, retiring in 1999. She graduated from Corning Community College. Attended Elmira College and State University at Delhi. In 2001 she went back to school and received a certificate as a travel agent. She worked at Courtesy Travel in Tonawanda for three years. At the time of her death she was self-employed as a travel consultant. She was a long time Bills and Sabres supporter and loved to travel and fish. She has fished all over the world. She was an avid boater belonging to Swift Water Power Squadron, Inner Harbor Yacht Club, and LaSalle Yacht Club. She volunteered at Meals on Wheel's of Amherst, the Riviera Theatre and taught safe boating classes at Swiftwater Power Squadron. She also volunteered at the 'Excalibur' ( a boat for handicapped children). Surviving are two stepchildren, David (Sherrie) Weber, and Amanda Weber (Dan) Clemens; one grandchild, Daniel Clemens; also surviving are a brother Tim (Sue) Sage, 3 sisters, Regina (Jake) Haner, Mary Sage and Amy Sage and several nieces and nephews; also surviving is her very dear friend Sam D'Agostino.
