January 23, 2005 formerly of Grand Island, beloved husband of the late Dorothy
(Dodge) Deeter; father of Linda Rae (Louis) Tufillaro; predeceased by two

brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Deeter was a veteran of WW

Klumpp, Freda A.   
Age 93, of Buffalo, formerly of Hess Rd, Appleton, entered into rest on
Sunday, January 23, 2005 at St Josephs Hospital in Cheektowaga after a brief
illness. Born January 28, 1911 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late
John and Katherine (Heck) Klumpp. She earned her Master's Degree at Buffalo
State Teachers College in 1955. Freda then taught school for the Cheektowaga
Central School District where she retired in 1976 after working there for 45
years. She worked in th Elementary grades before advancing to administration
as Grade Coordinator. Freda was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of
Ridgewood. She is survived by two sisters; Ruth Ferguson of Newfane and Alice
Berner of Gasport. She was predeceased by two sisters; Lillian Heckel and
Kathleen Kaufman and two brothers, Elmer Klumpp and Walter Klumpp. She is also
survived by 16 nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend
visitation at the KENNETH H. SHERRIE FUNERAL HOME, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane
on Wednesday, January 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held

husband of Irene Hoyczyk Kris, his wife of 59 years; father of the late
Michael E. Kris (Susan); Mark G. Kris (Mary Ellen) of New York City, and
Margaret E. (Kevin) Crawley of Kenmore, NY; brother of Rita (Stanley)
Lesakowski; grandfather of Michael, Patrick, Mary Kiernan, Robert, Christopher
(Sarah), Melanie, Matthew and Nicholas; great-grandfather of Kayla and
Brianna; he is survived by many nieces and nephews as well. He was born Edward
Joseph Krysiak on Buffalo's East Side on November 2, 1923. He attended
Transfiguration Grammar School. A member of Canisius High School's Class of
1941, he graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1945. He worked as an
analytical chemist at Lucidol, Olin-Mathieson, Roswell Park Cancer Institute
and the US Food and Drug Administration. He was the owner and Technical
Director of Buffalo Testing Laboratories from 1967 to 1998. He also led Zidrep
Corporation, a maker of herbal drugs, until his retirement. He was a member of
St. Andrew's Church from 1956 to 1998 and later the Cathedral of the Epiphany
in Venice, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10021. A Memorial
Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Church, 1545 Sheridan Dr., Kenmore, NY at
