Born September 15, 1918 in Buffalo, NY where she lived until very recently.
She moved to Plano, Texas in November 2004, and she passed away there on
January 21, 2005. Dorothy was a member of the Rebecca Lodge. She was preceded
in death by her husband James A. Donahue; parents George Minsterman and Nellie
Steffen and brother George Minsterman. Dorothy is survived by her daughter
Diane Drescher and husband Jim; granddaughters Christine Marie Drescher and
Darcy Lynn Drescher; great-granddaughter Megan Estelle Dullenty; and dear
friend Grace Smith. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2004

Korber, Eugenie Noerdlinger   
Died on January 23, 2005 in Seattle, Washington. Gene was born on May 17, 1914
in Floersheim, Germany and moved to the Buffalo area in 1938, where she lived
until moving to Seattle in 1988. Gene worked at Denton, Cottier & Daniels
before marrying her late husband, George, in 1943. Later she worked for
several years at Kleinhans and at Jenss at the Boulevard Mall, where she made
many friends among customers and co-workers. Gene is survived by her children,
Kent Korber of Alligerville, NY, Marlis Korber of Seattle, Mark Korber of
Glastonbury, CT, his wife Carolyn and their children, John, Eric and Madeline,
and by her nephew, Leo Noerdlinger of Cheektowaga. Gene chose to be cremated.
Gene's family invites friends to join them on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2:00
p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, Millersport Highway, Amherst to
reminisce and celebrate her life, with a reception to follow. Her family
suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Buffalo Philharmonic
Orchestra, to support the music she loved in the city she always called home.
