Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Alvarez was a senior companion at West Seneca Developmental Center for fifteen years. She lived in God's Word in sharing and helping others. Active in her Church, she was a eucharistic minister, a member of the choir and a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a sponsor of children in need and a translator for refugees and helped to place them. She was active in the Mexican Club, where her husband was one of the founders. Dauer, Judi Parcheta Died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, ending a two year struggle with a debilitating case of Systemic Scleroderma. Judi was the daughter of Walter Parcheta Sr. and the late Florence Chmiel Parcheta. She was born in Buffalo, New York on July 27, 1951. She received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Hewr life's passion and profession was an artist. After working in advertising and photography, Judi began hair styling as an additional career, relocating to Jacksonville, Florida in 1983. She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, William Charles Dauer; one daughter Gretchen (Leonard) Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Bianca, Karina and Isabella; and a sister Nancy Haensty, all of Jacksonville; one step-son Joseph Harold Dauer, of Toledo, Ohio; other siblings include on brother, Walter (Mary) Parcheta Jr., of Lake Worth, FL; a sister, Virginia (Mark) Clarcq,, from Franklin, MA; Judi is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, devoted pets, clients and friends.
