Philip (Karen) Liberatore and the late Anthony (Rose) Alessi; cherished uncle

Alvarez, Nery         
May 28, 2005, of Lackawanna, NY, Age 89, wife of the late Miguel Alvarez;
mother of Michael A., Robert D., Steven J., Gloria, Victoria M. Lindstrom and
Linda A. France; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered Tuesday in St. Anthony's Church in Lackawanna.
Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico,
Mrs. Alvarez was a senior companion at West Seneca Developmental Center for
fifteen years. She lived in God's Word in sharing and helping others. Active
in her Church, she was a eucharistic minister, a member of the choir and a
member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a sponsor of children in need and
a translator for refugees and helped to place them. She was active in the
Mexican Club, where her husband was one of the founders. She enjoyed
traveling, reading, theater, music and gardening.

October 28, 2004. In Sarasota, FL at the age of 95. Born October 10, 1909, in
Collins, NY. Moved from Buffalo to Sarasota, FL in 1976; retired from the
Buffalo Police Department in 1973; was Chief Communicator for 34 years. Was a
graduate of Chowns School of Business. Mr Bentley was a life time member of
both regional and international police associations, a member of Elks Amherst
Lodge 1942 of Kenmore NY, member of Colonial Oaks Baptist Church, Sarasota,
FL. Survived by his wife Carolyn (Waite) Bentley; beloved father of Cindy
Miller, Elisabeth Hammond and Roger Bentley; one granddaughter and one
great-grandson. A graveside Memorial Service will take place June 8 at 1 PM in
Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, NY. If desired, memorials may be made to the Blind

78, Went to be with his Lord May 28, 2005 in Vero Beach, FL. He was born in
Oskaloosa, Iowa and lived in Vero Beach for 13 years, coming from Buffalo, NY.
He was a Food Quality Control Lab Technician with Henry & Henry Inc. in
Buffalo for 49 years. He served in the Army as a Paratrooper during WW II. He
was a member of First Church of God in Vero Beach, FL and formerly attended
the Tabernacle in Orchard Park, NY. Survivors include his wife of 54 years
Barbara J. Earl of Vero Beach, daughters Cheryl (Donald) Martin and Karen
(Richard) Kuhn, both of Cheektowaga; sons Kevin (Mary) Earl of Providence, RI,
Dean (Pamela) Earl of Vero Beach and Douglas (Damar) Earl of Amherst. He was
greatly loved by 13 grandchildren who were always in his prayers. Memorial

Paolini, Helena M. (Cimino)          
February 6, 1955-May 20, 2005 from ALS; formerly of Amherst; in Palm Harbor,
FL. 1973 graduate of Amherst High School. Helena married the late Robert
Paolini on October 19, 1973; they moved to Florida in 1980. Helena worked as a
manager for the Palm Harbor Ale House, before being diagnosed with ALS in
April 2001. Helena's husband Robert died May 16, 2005 of cancer. He was
husband and also caretaker of Helena until he fell ill in February 2005. He
died four days before Helena. Helena is the daughter of Joseph P. Cimino and
the late Helen Cimino. Helena is the mother of Gina Kramer (Larry), Robert II
(Leika), Elena and Anthony; grandmother of Larry Jr. Survivors also include
four brothers and two sisters: Charles, Sante, Maria, Joseph Jr. (Edie), Peter
(Krystyna), Heather Emminger (Greg), three nieces and six nephews. Burial was
in Curlew Hills Cemetery, Palm Harbor, FL.

and his family moved to Florida in the 1970s. Mr. Parisi, a graduate of
Cornell University, was an army veteran of WWII. He was the husband of the
late Jean Carr Parisi. Survivors include three daughters, Ginine Reynolds of
Bethlehem, PA, Nicolette Parisi of York, PA, and Brigita O'Keefe of Port
Orange, FL, and six grandchildren.

Sticht, Edward M.          
Age 94, of Depew, NY passed peacefully after a long good life. Beloved spouse
of Bernice Sticht (nee Georger); father of Joan (Russell) Goldberg, Michael
(Donna) Sticht, Barbara (Thomas) Lyons, Nancy (Joseph) Guercio; survived by
eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Retired UAW Scale Mechanic and Millwrite from the Tonawanda General Motors
foundry. US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a lifetime member of the Buffalo
Museum of Science and charter member of the Niagara Frontier Botanical Society
and amateur geologist. He donated fossils to the Buffalo Museum of Science. He
collaborated in the State botanical survey of Reinstein Woods State Park. No
prior visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. James Church on
Terrace Avenue in Depew at 10 AM on Friday, June 17th followed by a reception
at the Edward Sticht residence. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the Buffalo Museum of Science.
