Roger was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Oliver P. and Edna (Schuring) Arnold. He graduated from the Nichols School of Buffalo, NY and Dartmouth College where he was a Varsity two - letter man. He also attended Thyer Engineering School. He was a life member of the Dartmouth Society of Engineers. Roger was also Commissioned an Ensign in the Naval Reserve and served in WWII as a naval airman. Roger was President of Buffalo Rubber Supply, Inc. One of the areas oldest wholesale distributors of industrial products, a business he took over from his father and sold when he retired to Florida. In his retirement, Roger enjoyed working with disabled children. Family members include his beloved wife of 33 years, Mary Haar Arnold; step-children, Agnes (Billy) Love, Raymond Wall and Robert (Silvana) Wall; his grandchildren, Justin, Christy, Matthew, Colin, Kevin and Diego. We will all mourn his passing and cherish his memories in our hearts. Services were held in Florida on March 12, 2005.
