Dr. Anthony J. Gugino, Sr., 85, of Wolcott St., LeRoy, died Thursday, May 5, 2005 in United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia. Dr. Gugino was born in Fredonia, NY on September 10, 1919 a son of the late Cosimo and Josephine Mancuso Gugino. He was a graduate of Fredonia High School, the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1951, did his internship at Meyer Memorial Hospital in Buffalo and started his dental practice in LeRoy in July of 1952, where he retired after 50 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and served his country from 1941 to 1946 as a Warrant Officer in Africa and Italy. Dr. Gugino was a member of the American Legion Post #576 of LeRoy, the Knights of Columbus councel #2396 of LeRoy, the LeRoy HIstorical Society and St. Joseph's Church, and past president of the LeRoy Central Schoo PTA. Past President Tri-County Dental Society, Member New York Dental Association, American Dental Association. Dr. Gugino is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ferrara Gugino; one son Dr. Anthony J.
