Long, Jean M. (Crehan) Of Atkinson, NH. Age 77, died Tuesday May 24 in Brentwood, NH after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Mrs. Long was born July 11, 1927 in Buffalo, NY and was a resident of Amherst, NY until moving to Atkinson, NH in 1971. She was an active member of the PTA in Amherst who, along with her late husband, served many years as co-presidents. She enjoyed swimming, golfing, antiquing and vacationing in Florida and Canada. The widow of Norman F. Long, who died in 1989, she is survived by her mother Mary I. (McLeod) Crehan of Amherst, NY; daughters Susan M. (Thomas) Withan of Atkinson, and Christine M. (Gregory) Boudreau of Haverhill, MA; sisters Judith M. Rexinger and Jerrilyn C. Braungart; sister-in-law Victoria Crehan; and many nieces and nephews in the Buffalo area. She was the mother of the late Joel F. Long who died in 2003, and the sister of the late John F. Crehan and Joan E. Rugg.
