Weisansal-Brauer, Kathryn Joan Kathryn was born in Buffalo, NY to Kenneth and Joan (Schlicht) Weisansal on June 4, 1956. She passed into eternal life on October 7, 2005 at the age of 49. She began active duty in the United States Air Force on January 31, 1975. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in May of 1985 from Old Dominion University, she was accepted for officer training and received her commission in March of 1986. Continuing her education, Kathy earned her Masters of Science in Nursing in May of 1991 from the University of Texas. After 22 years of serving her country Kathy retired from active duty on July 29, 2003. Kathy is survived by her father, Kenneth Weisansal; her brothers, Mark, Robert and John Weisansal, extended family and many wonderful friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother. To her very special friends, Kathy's family will be forever grateful to all of you for loving Kathryn for the beautiful woman she was.
