MAJ. JAMES COLLORD DEAD; ON ARMY'S RETIRED LIST

New York, June 24 -- Maj. James Collord, United States army retired, died today 
at the home of his sister, Miss Clara Collord, at Sea Cliff, after a long 
illness.  Maj. Collord served two years during the world war with the ordnance 
department at Washington D.C. where he was trafic officer.  He was born in New 
York in 1858.

Buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, Erie County, New York
