Death Notice (not obit)
Janet Elizabeth (Becker) Darrin Henkel  [1928-1987]

The Buffalo News  (this is the death notice, not the obituary which also ran)
[my additions/corrections to "death notice" in brackets]

Aug 1, 1987, devoted mother of Allen [Allan], Julia and David Darrin; sister 
of Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Carlyon; aunt of Deedee, Lisa, Briana and Merritt; 
great aunt of Jeremy Scot; cousin of Mark Malcolm.  Friends may call Tuesday 
from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-4 PM at the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 
Kensington Ave., Amherst where a memorial service will be held Wednesday at 
4:15 PM.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Memorials may be made to the 
community Music Schook, 415 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo in memory of Janet B. 
Henkel, who was the founder and chairperson of the Womans Public Linds [should 
be Links] Golf Assn. of WNY and an active private piano teacher in the 
Clarence Community.
