I, Sophie Demars of the Village of Tupper Lake in the County of Franklin and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner following, that is to say: First. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. Second. I give, devise and bequeath unto my children Octave Demars, Joseph S. Demars, Victorine Fortin, Alice Nichols, Lucia Desrosiers and Leon P. Demars share and share alike the sum of money due from Octave Demars to Sophie Demars on a sale contract to be their own forever, amounting to $1000 and interest on this date. Third. I give, devise and bequeath unto my children, Octave Demars, Joseph E. Demars, Alice Nichols, Lucia Desrosiers and Leon P. Demars, the amount of insurance on my life, to wit, $2000, to be divided equally between them after deducting therefrom the sum of $100, to be expended by my executor for masses for said Sophie Demars and her husband Joseph Janvier Demars, deceased, and after the payment of all funeral and other funeral expenses. Fourth: I give and bequeath all my furniture and clothes to my daughters, Alice Nichols and Lucia Desrosiers. Fifth: I give, devise and bequeath unto my children Octave Dears, Joseph E. Demars, Alice Nichols, Lucia Desrosiers and Leon P. Demars, share and share alike, all of my real property at Tupper Lake, N.Y. to be divided as fellows; my executor to offer said property to said five children and sell it to the one offering the highest amount. If none offer or purchase the sale thereof is to be left to the discretion of my executor. LASTLY, I hereby appoint Leon P. Demars of Tupper Lake, N.Y., executor of this, my last Will and Testament: hereby revoking all former wills by me made. with full power to sell and convey any and all of my real property.
