Last will and Testament of Sarah M Joslin

I, Sarah M Joslin, of the town of Perth and the state of New York, hereby make, 
publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form 
following: 

First:  I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon 
after my decease as can conveniently be done.

Second:  I give and bequeath to my two daughters, : Maggie J Smith and Nellie A 
Hathaway, share and share alike, my silverware, dishes, furniture, beds, 
bedding, carpets and all other personal chattels belonging to me at the time of 
my decease, the same to be equally divided between them

Third: I give and bequeath to my grand-son Clarence A Joslin, two hundred dollars

Fourth: I give and bequeath to my grand-son Earl F Smith two hundred dollars

Fifth:  I give and bequeath to my grand-daughter Dorothy N Hathaway one hundred 
and fifty dollars

Sixth: I give and bequeath to my name-sake Ansel Leroy Shrader fifty dollars

Seventh: All the rest, residue and remainder of my said estate, both real and 
personal I give, devise and bequeath to my two daughters, Maggie J Smith and 
Nellie A Hathaway, share and share alike

Eighth: In case my estate shall be insufficient after my just debts are paid to 
pay in full the gifts and bequests specified in paragraphs third, fourth, fifth 
and sixth of this my last will and testament, then and in that event, I direct 
that said bequests abate notably.

Likewise I make, constitute and appoint my daughter, Maggie J Smith of the town 
of Perth to be sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking 
all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal at the 
town of Perth, State of New York, this 20 day of September 1913.

The foregoing instrument, consisting of two sheets of paper, was subscribed, 
sealed, published and declared by Sarah M Joslin as said for her last will and 
testament in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and we, at the same 
time, at her request and her presence and in the presence of each other hereto 
subscribe our names and residences as attesting witnesses this 20th day of 
September 1913
