In the name of God I Philip Cool of the town of Ephratah in the county of Montgomery and state of New York being of sound memory but considering the mortality of the body and the uncertainty of the hour of death do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following to wit. First I give and bequeath unto my wife Anna during her widowhood the sole control and command of my estate real and personal with the injunction that she shall not sell or dispose of any part thereof without the consent of my hereinafter mentioned sons excepting her apparel which she may dispose of at her pleasure. Item I give and bequeath unto my two sons Philip and Frederick and to their heirs and assigns for ever the farm whereon I now live being two pieces or parcels of land the first being part of lot no.16 in large lot no.18 and a part. Lot no.17 in Magins patent the next piece or parcel of land is described in a certain warrantee deed executed by Jacob Cool and wife to Philip Cool bearing date November 29,1825. The whole of said farm to contain about one hundred and fifty acres said farm to be equally divided between My two said sons and their assigns by a line in the center thereof and running from north to south. I further give and bequeath unto my two said sons all my farming utensil of whatever name or nature and also all my horses to be equally divided between them also my four large iron kettles and each a good common bed and bedding and my wearing apparel it is further my will that whoever of my two said sons shall take my stove and saddle, shall pay one half the price to purchase a stove and saddle equally as good for the use and benefit of the other item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine wife of Henry Sponable, Elizabeth wife of Peter P Smith and Anna single woman the sum of ten dollars each to be raised and paid out of the estate two years after my deceased. I do further order that my said daughter Anna shall have a decent and comfortable support out and on my estate as long as shall be unmarried, but after her marriage to receive out of the estate such articles of cooking and household furniture as my other daughters have received as to all the remainder of my personal property and household furniture. I will that on the event of my wife's deceased shall be equally divided between my three said daughters excepting my weaving loom and apparatus thereunto belonging which shall be for common use among all my children-further I order that all just debts funeral expenses be paid by my two said sons out of the estate under the directions of my hereinafter mentioned executor and that the one to whom the house and barn I now occupy shall be better off shall pay to the other and furnish such help for building as they may agree. Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Philip Kring and Christopher Getman and my son Philip executors of this my last will and testatment and I hereby utterly revoke and disanull all and every other testament or bequest by me formerly made and ratify and confirm this to be my last will and testament.
