Geo. T. Hope, of the firm of Hope Bros., photographers and dealers in drugs and
furniture, is a native of Green county, N. Y.; moved to Ill. in 1851, and with
his brother Wm. H., engaged in farming. In 1870 they moved to Little Sioux, Ia.,
and engaged in the mercantile business. They established their present business
in 1879.
