Mattice, Surrogate of the said county of Greene, according to law, as and for the Last Will and Testament of the real and personal estate of said deceased; which said Last Will and Testament, and the proofs and examinations taken in respect to the same, and as follows, to wit: I, John Hugaboom of Prattsville, Greene County, New York (now sojourning in Waymart, Pennsylvania), being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First, I roder and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as convenient after my decease. Second, I give to my Granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Merwin one bed and the necessary bed clothes, one large table, my small bureau, three flag seat chairs and three cane seat chairs and as to all the rest and residue of my estate real and personal I give devise and bequeath the same as follows: to my daughter Mrs. Armenia Hollenbeck I give the equal and undivided fourth part thereof. To my son John W. Hugaboom I give the equal and undivided fourth part thereof. To my son Adelbert L. Hugaboom I give the equal undivided fourth part thereof. And as to the remaining fourth part of my estate I give two thirds of the same unto my son Chauncy Hugaboom and the remaining one third unto my said granddaughter Mrs. Mary Merwin. The said devisees and legatees to have and to hold the respective property and shares so given to them absolutely and forever. Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint Chester Platner and Theodore randolph to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and annulling any and all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Eighty one. Stephens being duly worn in open court, doth depose and say, that this deponent was acquainted with John Hugaboom in his lifetime; that the said John Hugaboom is now dead, and was at the time of his death an inhabitant of the town of Prattsville in the county of Greene and State of new York; that this deponent saw the said John Hugaboom sign and execute the instrument now shown to this deponent, purporting ot be the Last Will and Testament of the said deceased, and bearing date the 23d day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one and heard him declare and acknowledge the same as and for his Last Will and Testament; that at the time of such execution and acknowledgment, the said John Hugaboom was of sound and disposing mind and memory, over the age of twenty-one years, and not under restraint, to the best of the knowledge, information and belief of this deponent; that this deponent and the other attesting witness to the said instrument subscribed their names respectively as witnesses thereto, in the presence and at the request of the said instrument subscribed their names respectively as witnesses thereto, in the presence and at the request of the said John Hugaboom and also in the presence of each other. State of New York Greene County Surrogate's Court}ss: It appearing upon the proofs duly taken in respect to the Last Will and Testament of John Hugaboom late of the town of Prattsville in the county of Greene and State of New York, deceased, that the said Will was duly executed, and that the said John Hugaboom at the time he executed the same, was in all respects competent to devise and bequeath real and personal estate, and not under restraint, the said Last Will and Testament, and the proofs and examination taken in respect to the same, are hereby recorded, and the record thereof signed and certified by me, pursuant to the provisions of the statute in such case made and provided, this twenty third day January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty two.
