Will 

In the name of God, Amen.  I, Margaret Aird of the Town of Lake Pleasant,
Hamilton County and State of New York, being of sound and disposing mind and
memory and mindful of the uncertainties of human life, do make, paublish and
declare this my last will and testament in manner following--that is to say: 

First--I direct that all my funeral expenses and other just debts be paid. 

Second.  I give and bequeath to my daughter Bertha, the large pictures of her
father and mother, ho have and to hold for herself, her heirs or assigns
forever. 

Third.  I give and bequeath to my daughters Margaret and Bertha to be divided
equally between them--all my clothing, jewelry and wearing apparel to have and
to hold absolutely forever. 

Fourth.  All the rest and residue of my estate, both real and personal, of
whatsoever kind or nature and wheresoever situated I give and bequeath unto my
son James Oscar Aird, to have and to hold absolutely for himself, his heirs,
executors or assigns forever. 

Fifth--I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint, my son James Oscar Aird,
Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills
by me made, and giving and granting unto him full power and authority, to sell
and convey any real estate of which I may die seized and possessed, and to
execute and acknowledge any paper necessary to convey the fee thereof.  In
witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the twenty-fifth
day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and nine.

The foregoing instrument consisting of one page and seven lines was on the 
day of the date thereof, in our presence duly signed, sealed and declared by
the Testator to be her last will and testament, and we, at her request and in
her presence and in the presence of each other, have singed our names as
subscribing witnesses thereto, August 25, 1909.

In the matter of proving the Last Will and 
Testament of Margaret Aird late of Lake Pleasant, Deceased 
Hamilton County ss:  C. S. Fry of the Town of Wells of the Village of Wells in
the county of Hamilton being duly sworn as a witness in the above entitled
matter, and examined on behalf of the proponent to prove said will, says I was
well acquainted with Margaret Aird and also with Annie E. Wilbur and William
E. Phillips witness to the will now shown and the said testatrix, and had
known her for more than twenty years before her death.  The subscription of
the decedent's name to the instrument now shown to me, and offered for probate
as her last will and testament, and bearing date the 25 day of August in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine was made by the decedent
at  [space] street in the Town of Lake Pleasant in the County of Hamilton in
the presence of Annie E. Wilbur and William E. Phillips the other subscribing
witnesses who are both now dead and know the handwriting of both of said
witnessed and do declare that the signatures at the end of said will is the
signature of said witnesses.   At the time of such subscription the said
decedent declared the said instrument, so subscribed by her, to be her last
will and testament, and I thereupon signed my name as a witness at the end of
the said instrument, at the request of said decedent and in her presence and
in the presence of said ______________ [line in document].  I also saw said
___________ other subscribing witness, sign his name as a witness at the end
of said will and know that he did so at the request of said decedent and in
her presence.  The instrument was upwards of the age of twenty-one years and
of sound mind, memory and understanding and not under any restraint on in any
respect incompetent to devise real estate.  And further this deponent says
that the said _______________, the other subscribing witness to said will is
now dead.   And I know the signature of said Margaret Aird and the said Annie
E. Wilbur and William E. Phillips the subscribing witnesses and know them to
be their signatures.
