Author: Hardin & Willard

Angell, M.D., German Flats, was born in Otsego county September 7, 1848, and 
spent the first twelve years of his life on the farm.  He came to Ilion, and 
after following various pursuits established himself in the undertaking 
business in 1888.  He was chief of police in Ilion for one year and is a 
Republican in politics.  His father was F.D. Angell, an artist, and his 
grandfather came from Connecticut.
