He has been in Little Falls seven years and has constructed water- works for Amsterdam, N.Y., Johnstown, N.Y., Gloversville, Troy, Greenwich, Ticonderoga, etc., as well as for Little Falls and other places. He is now engineer of the Little Falls Water works and engineer of the Glens falls sewer system, twenty-five miles, now being constructed, and is considered an expert in all departments of his professions. He is also well known in social circles over a wide extent of country, and is a prominent Mason, a member of Apollo Commandry, No. 15, Troy, a Knight Templar, a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Engineers' Club, New York city, vice- president of the American Water Works Association and Fellow of the American Geographical Society, as also patentee of several valuable devices for improved sewerage.
